  The blogging world is brand new to me. What’s the best way to find bloggers who write about similar topics that I do and how can I connect with them?

  I like the WordPress.com Reader for finding blogs. You could check out the recommendations there and/or search by tag to find bloggers posting about topics you’re interested in.

  Yes, I agree! The WordPress.com Reader is a great place to find and connect with similar blogs and bloggers.

  I also came across this search engine which helped me find lots of new blogs. You can search on any subject.
