New Blogger: Can I change the date and time of a post?

    Hi!

    I’m new to WordPress and so before I post anything i’m trying to get to know the site as well as become skilled at a few other things. With that being stated, I wanted to know if I could manually change the date and time of a post? For example, I have pending posts (on my computer not WordPress) and I have not added them because I literally just started the site.

    If I add more than one post at a time, can I manually set the date for them? (For example, having posts for August but not adding them until October)

    Hi and welcome!

    Sure thing. When writing a post in WordPress, you can schedule a post for any future date or wish, or set it back to a previous date. Some screenshots are on this page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ and while the page discusses future scheduling, the same thing applies for backdating. The post would appear as if it was published on the date indicated.
