new blogger- do over?!

  ok, we spent a few hours feeling our way through and have completely screwed up what we set out to do, however we definetely learned a lot!1

  now we would simply like to start from scratch using the same blog name and template. is there a “reset” function for a do over?!?1

  it seems if i delete the world will end…..

  what we realize we want is a BLOG page that begins with a mission statement followed by blogs and pages that deal a single subject which we realize we cant blog but can promote comment (we thought we could blog every page, well, everyone has a first day dont they?!)

  can someone help us move in the right direction?

  home and who we are should not have the same content!!!

  home does not show in dashboard< pages when looking to edit!

  First, please read this forum sticky, with special attention to the second point:

  You’ve used the word “blog” as a noun, a verb and an adjective and while it can be all those, you seem not to be clear on the difference between a post and a page:

  Post vs. Page

  I assume by “followed by blogs and pages” you meant “posts and pages” but I’m not clear what “blog every page” means.

  now we would simply like to start from scratch using the same blog name and template.

  Delete whatever posts and pages you might have but not the blog. You can’t reuse the url.

  You can register a new blog from the wordpress.com homepage after you log in. There should be a blue box with your username and current blog name on the upper left-hand side with an option to “register a new blog.” This allows you to completely start over, but if you want to keep the exact url, you’ll have to just delete all your posts, I think.
