New blogger getting strange hits…

  Just signed up and started my blog a few days ago. Looking at my stats today I am getting multiple hits via the following domain:

  [spam referrer removed]

  Going to that page reveals the following at the bottom of the blog:

  Adult WordPress Theme By Thai Porn | Asian Porn | Asian Sex
  Copyright © 2011 Financial Guide Blog All Rights Reserved.

  What the heck? Is this sort of thing normal? Can I block ‘people’ or bots from getting to my blog from garbage and possibly infected domains like that?

  It’s just another form of spam, like comment spam.
