New blogger – how to update the cached information in the search engines ?

    I created a new blog and have updated the information a few times on the dashboard. I searched the blog url in google search engine , however its still showing old information on the dashboard. Please advise how to have the information on the search engine match up with the live url and when will the cache clear up ? or Do I have to start all over again ,pls advise

    Hi, thanks for asking. Search engines crawl most sites fairly often and will update that information automatically. By updating the content, you’ve already done everything you can. Just wait, and the search engine will eventually update its summaries, replacing the old content with your new content. On the other hand, If you’re looking at a web page that’s displaying old information you know you updated, it helps to refresh your browser’s cache. To do this, clicking the browser’s refresh button or, for Windows, press the Ctrl and F5 keys at the same time. I hope this helps.
