New Blogger needs help

  I’m new to blogging and not technically savvy. Is there a reputable source (not too expensive)
  I can pay to set it up for me? I want to use a new theme, but I’m so limited in skill that
  my attempts are extremely boring. I have difficulty uploading pictures, getting them to
  fit, etc.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Let me tell you, THAT GUY is not somebody I would trust. Randos in the forum saying “I’ll do it for a link” are obviously not familiar with the monetary value of a link to a brand new blog.

  If you are talking about this blog: http://marykhenderson.wordpress.com/ know that most WordPress consultants won’t be able to add a theme to it if you got that theme from anywhere but WordPress.com. WordPress.ORG themes don’t work here.

  If you just want a new theme that you can see on your Dashboard under Themes, then you can do it yourself easily. Just click to see all the themes, page through till you find one you like, click Preview which will show you how your blog looks in that theme, and if you like it, click Activate. If you don’t, click the X in the corner and keep looking.

  I DO know the value of a new site. I’m trying to divert traffic to my friend’s new site.

  If people go on her site and get directed to mine, they might check out my blogroll and go to my friend’s site.

  Sorry for the trouble or anything like that if I made any.

  There’s no trouble, it just looked like a spammer trying to hit on an easy mark. A link from a PR 0 blog is worth 0.

  Just an observation – handing the keys to a web site to a stranger has a very high degree of risk. I think I have seen it only done once here in 8 months and then the keys were to a regular and they insisted that the passwords be changed as soon as the site changes were made.

  @rglee98 – nothing personal but caution for people is always good – I did look at your site and it has been around for a while, but still – caution is good.

  If you want your site to have move visits go to timethiefs site and read what she has to say about building traffic.
