  Hi All,

  I am just starting a wordpress blog and have a couple questions.

  I understand that you can’t put adsense ads in the side columns. Is there any other way to use adsense on my blog?

  I imagine that I can post affiliate links – is that right? Are there other limitations to monitization?

  If I want to change to worpress.org, for more versatility in the future, can I move my content with reasonble simplicity?

  I poitely suggest reading the bid red sticky for most of the answers to your questions to begin with.

  There is a way to add adsense to your blog but considering your getting bandwidth and hosting completely free, I politely suggest reconsidering the need to have such items on your blog.

  As to the affiliate links, we’ve not heard back offically but it appears that as long as they are not the main purpose to your blog, then they are allowed.

  Moving content is answered in the sticky as well as many threads beforehand.
