New blogposts do not appear in Reader

My problem is that new blogposts published by me stopped appearing automatically on Reader for WP followers of my blog. I wonder if there is any way in which I can correct this or if there is a reason why this is happening. Only if you look for my blog specifically does it show on Reader but new blogposts no longer appear automatically. As far as I am aware I did not change the settings.

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
If you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal of the excess categories and/or tags note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.
As that doesn’t seem to be the case in your blog I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they reply and please be patient while waiting.

Thanks very much – oddly, when I used tags I had more than 15 and posts still displayed in Reader. It could be that my sub-categories are the problem but since they are extremely useful to my readers I cannot very well delete any.
I am subscribed to the thread and am looking forward to any help Staff might be able to offer.

Hi there,
It looks like there was an issue with your feed. I was able to pinpoint the issue and fix it. There was an image that was causing a parsing error. Your feed is now validated and your post is showing up in the Reader as seen here:

The description added to the image threw it off so I removed what was causing it. But next time this happens, just check your feed in the validator by adding:
http://arthistoriesroom.wordpress.com/feed
here:

Thanks for looking into it…I’ve had a number of followers message me to say my posts have stopped showing up in their reader, including one today?? Have looked at my settings etc but can’t seem to think why it is doing this?

The followers would have to check their settings. Your settings wouldn’t have any bearing on their settings. If they do have problems, have them contact us and I’d be happy to take a look!
