New blog..want to upload a picture from my computer as the header.

  Why won’t my picture upload to the header?

  Are you uploading via Appearance -> Header in your blog’s Dashboard? Do you see any errors? If so, would you please quote the errors?

  Hi, I finally got it to upload this morning but last night every time I clicked upload my file disappeared and nothing happened. Now I have a picture but I can’t get my title and description won’t show up. Kind of frustrating. Maybe I’ll try a different theme. Thankyou for your response.

  You can turn on the display of your site title and description by following these steps:

  1. Go to Appearance -> Themes in your dashboard
  2. Click on the blue “Customize” button
  3. Click on the light gray link labeled “Site Title & Tagline”
  4. Check the box next to “Display Header Text”
  5. Click the blue “Save” button

  Make sure to refresh your view of your homepage in order to see the change take effect:
