New Canadian Anti-Spam Laws

  I need to make sure anyone receiving emails from using the email follow option at the bottom of my wordpress.com site to stay in keeping with the new Canadian anti-spam laws (can be found here: http://fightspam.gc.ca/eic/site/030.nsf/eng/home).

  When users who do not have a WordPress account, but are receiving email notifications do they see an option to unsubscribe?

  Hi there,

  Yes, all email followers (with or without a WordPress.com account) are given a link in each email update where they can unsubscribe or change their subscription settings. We also have more about that here: Following Blogs
