New categories

  I add new categories and they don’t appear.

  In the new format, the categories list is below the post. Above the list are the words “new category”. Fine, press that and I get a box. I add a new category. In a drop-down box to the right is “parent” – fine I leave that. And then there is an add button. I press that.

  Nothing happens.

  Does anyone know how to make this work – add a new category while I am writing a post.

  Can only guess: Look to see javascript is active in your browser.
  Firefox seems to work better than IE, and it is free.
  Do you have the latest Adobe flash installed?

  Can you give us a direct link to your blog, starting with http? We generally always need that to look at the blog.

  Also: check your category listings. The new one appears at the TOP of the list.
