new categories wont show

  i am trying to create a new parent category and additional categories to live under it. my site will allow me to create them, and they show up on my dashboard – but they don’t show up on my site itself. i’m not sure what to do to resolve this situation.

  Hi there!

  Categories don’t really have place to show up on your site until you have a Post published that uses that category. Right now I see no posts for your blog:

  https://shanacinquemani.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post

  I’d recommend creating a few test posts and assigning categories to them. You’ll then start seeing how your theme displays categories alongside your posts. Then you can add Category Pages to your menu, or using the Categories Widget.
