New category invents itself upon posting

  Hi! I have no categories for my blog. Whenever I post a new entry, WordPress creates a new category called ‘204876’ (ID 1924015) and places that entry and all subsequent entries under that category. I have to delete the category 204876 every time I make a new post.

  Does this happen to anyone else? How do you fix it?

  I’ve not heard of this happening to others but I do believe that you should contact staff using this link (9-5 pm Pacific time weekdays) http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
