New category not showing up on my blog – Chunk theme

I use the Chunk theme, the free version. I added another category to my blog and everything was fine and dandy, meaning it’s right there in my list of categories on my dashboard, but it’s not showing up on my actual blog. I cleared my cache and did my research, but a lot of the solutions given are to with editing the CSS of your theme, which you can’t do in the free version of Chunk. Is there another way I can solve this? Thanks in advance!

Hi there. What category did you add, and have you actually assigned that category to any posts? A category won’t appear in the categories widget unless you have posts published in that category.

Thanks for responding! Yes, I added a category for to the post, but that didn’t work? -
I ask again, what is the new category? We can’t check it for you if we don’t know what it is. If you can also give the URL of a post assigned to that category it would be great.
Also: do you want the category to appear in the categories widget at the bottom, or in your menu? To have it appear in your menu you have to add it manually under Appearance ->Menus in the dashboard, same as you did with your other category pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
