How can I make sure my new post will be at the top of my blog? I’ve tried everything and can’t find out how to make that happen. I have a new post scheduled for September 13. Thank you!

Hello there,
Usually the post would appear at the top by default.
I don’t see an assigned blog post page – are you able to tell share the posts page please?
Many thanks.

Hi!
I’ve had a few posts that didn’t post to the top of the blog. You have to specify that when you set things up.The blog post I am concerned about is my scheduled post for September 13.
I hope this is helpful!

Hi there,
I checked and it appears that almost all of your posts are sticky posts. Normally, the sticky feature is designed for a few posts to be featured at the top of your post page. I am sure that any post that you publish next would not be at the top unless it is stickied as well.
As @aleone89 mentioned, the newest post would appear at the top by default – unless there are sticky posts. What I would suggest is to unstick all of your posts that you do not want to be at the top, and then any post that is published moving forward will be at the top right under any sticky posts that you keep.
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

I have like 400 posts. I can’t go back and correct them all. How to I make a post — sticky? That’s what I will have to do to post new material.
Thank you!

The idea of a “sticky” post is usually just one post, or a few at most, that you always want at the top, such as an intro about you and what your site is about. I don’t think wordpress is designed to have hundreds of sticky posts and it may perhaps break your site. Personally I would tidy things up and steadily “unstick” posts.

Hi there, at https://nancigravill.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php you’ll be able to use the Bulk Edit functionality to change the Sticky status on several posts at a time: https://wordpress.com/support/posts/edit-posts-screen/#quick-edit
Please let us know if you have any more questions!
