New Dashboard and Google Gears

  I just noticed that the “Turbo” button has reappeared in my blog’s Dashboard. When I click on it WordPress.com notifies me that Google Gears is installed but not enabled for use with WordPress, but looking in my Firefox’s Gears Settings I see that all of my current blogs are listed there as enabled.

  Ideas, suggestions?

  OK-so let’s not all answer at once! LOL ;)

  It was because I switched to https sign-in. Had to reinstall Gears. Just FYI

  OT SR, but stupid google gears never made wordpress function faster for me, I don’t even see the point of it except the fact that google wants to continue their internet/computer/world domination.

  I installed Gears, but there is no ‘Turbo’ sign visible. I don’t notice any difference at the moment.

  You probably won’t see any difference with Gears unless you have a slow internet connection. I can confirm that it makes a big difference in that case.

  Don’t bother with gears not worth the paper their written on and in the wrong pc which is most actually slows down blogs and pc in a big way

  There’s no Gears (turbo button) on Opera browser :(
