New Dashboard basically useless- complete link jail
-
The new dashboard is a gigantic dead end. Not only does the link to the classic (i. e., working) dashboard fail to link to anything, but no other links actually click- not even the link to MY OWN BLOG.
The new dashboard might as well be a static, bot-generated PNG image with a few stats on it. And not even particularly relevant ones, then I can’t drill any deeper to what I actually want. I suppose what I actually want is a working dashboard, which might be the classic dashboard. Or for that matter, anything else that will actually do something. ANYTHING.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Why not stick to the classic dashboard? I never visit the new one except to occasionally look into the issues described by others who visit there. If it’s useless, why keep going there?

I agree. The Classic Dashboard is far superior in function and productivity. Unfortunately I can’t find out how to set it as the default for my blogs. When I click on the icon on the sites page, the annoying new interface presents itself and I have to manually click to revert to the Classic Dashboard. One needs to be a dedicated user not to be irritated away to a WordPress competitor.
