I am adding new data to my site pages. Some have updated and some won’t. Why is this happening?

Hi Cathy, there could be a few reasons why some of your pages are updating with new data while others are not:
- Caching – Your site may be caching some pages, so the new data doesn’t show until the cache clears. Try clearing caches and testing again.
- Page builder conflicts – If you’re using a page builder like Elementor or Beaver Builder, there can occasionally be conflicts updating parts of those pages. Try editing in the page builder itself.
- Hosting limitations – Some budget hosts throttle or limit WordPress functionality like post revisions. This can cause issues saving new data. Check with your host.
- Permissions – Ensure your user account has proper edit/publish permissions for all the pages. Pages you don’t have access to edit will not update.
- Theme/plugin conflicts – An incompatible or buggy theme/plugin can block editing access in rare cases. Try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One.
- Database issues – If your database is corrupted or over the size limit, new data may not get saved properly. Your host can check for database errors.
Take a look at those potential factors on pages not updating. Often it’s something simple like a caching plugin. Let me know if the issue persists and we can dig deeper!
