New domain

  Good afternoon,

  I’ve been using domain rumunskojetravels.wordpress.com for years now and today I have changed it to rumunskoje.wordpress.com. On my other website (which I don’t use) – kuchniaautostopowicza.wordpress.com – I wanted to put redirecting messages and change the domain to rumunskojetravels.wordpress.com. Of course, I understand that it is not possible to use my old domain. But is this a temporary thing or this is vanished forever?

  Hi @rumunskojetravels, we can restore the old name for you since you just deleted it today. I’ve just done that for you. The site is empty right now because its contents are on the new name.

  There’s no simple way to rename an existing address to another existing address, but, you can export the content from one site and import it into this blank site if you’d like:

  Export Your Website’s Content

  Regarding the redirect, if you’d like, we have this:
  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/
