  • Hi there,

We can’t help directly because we don’t host emmahwhite.co.uk on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.

To clarify, we are a fully managed WordPress provider. We use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress and provides integrated caching, server-level performance improvements, security, automatic updates to core software, robust backups, and in-house support from our WordPress.com Happiness Engineers. To offer this we use a customized version of WordPress (different from what you use at Google Domains Hosting, for example) which is optimized for our infrastructure and offers the best performance possible.

Because of this we don’t offer backups and historical data for sites hosted elsewhere. Of course, we would love to host your site here, where we are happy to help further. But as it stands now, we can’t assist.

Instead I recommend contacting Google Domains Hosting to see if they still have the WordPress source files on your hosting account, or are able to restore them from their internal backups. If so they will also be able to help you connect them to a new site address.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
