New domain

  Hi
  I’ve just bought a new domain name. I’ve previously held a free wordpress page and although I’ve got the approval emails come through my new paid for domain isn’t showing on my profile so I can’t edit it. when should I be able to start editing the website for my new domain? Thanks

  Hello Louise!

  Do you have an upgraded WordPress account? In order to map a domain name, you’ll need to be on an upgraded plan.

  Hi,
  Thanks for helping. I’m sure I’m being really thick but I signed up this evening and paid for a premium account. Now when I log into my WordPress it says I don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Once I’ve bought my domain through WordPress do I have to start the blog set up again and pay again to link it up to a WordPress blog?

  The site that you linked, which was working earlier, is no longer there. I’m not sure if that means you have the new domain name working, or if some other confusion has arisen. Let us know if you’re still having issues and we’ll do our best to continue helping.

  Also, it appears that you have two accounts (louisetrillwood and ltrillwood), so this could be part of the confusion.

  Yes you’re right I did have another unpaid for account set up a while ago. The one I set up yesterday was a paid for domain louisetrillwood.com and that was linked to (email visible only to moderators and staff)…..but it’s not showing up as a site?

  I see that the domain you mentioned is working. If it’s not showing up on either of your profiles, I’ll tag this post so the mods can take a closer look. They should be able to figure out which account is associated with that site, which will let us know how to proceed.

  Hi there,

  It looks like you have a third account, louisetrillwood89. Your domain and plan belongs to that account, so if you log in as that username you’ll see it there.

  I see you’ve deleted all the sites in your ltrillwood and louisetrillwood accounts, so those accounts don’t own any sites any more.
