new domain and old readers

  If I decide to buy my own domain and transform dayda.wordpress.com in somethingelse.com, what will happen when my old readers will go to the old website?
  Am i losing them or when typing the old address the new blog appears?

  Hello,

  If you are registering a custom domain with WordPress.com, you will not lose any data. Once you select your new domain as your primary address, when people type in your old address it will automatically redirect to new address.
