New Domain and Site

    Hi, I was looking at creating a new domain and site, under the domain wonderlandelliereads.wordpress.com however it is saying that it is not available. However, after searching this domain, the user seems to have deleted their site, so would it be possible for me to claim it?

    The authors have deleted this site.

    To the best of my knowledge WordPress.com only gives the option of restoring a deleted site (within 30 days of deletion) to the original owner. And never to anyone else later on. This is to avoid impersonation. Otherwise someone that wasn’t you could re-use your previously deleted address for all sorts of nefarious practices. You’ll have to choose something similar (which can bring its own problems of people accidentally ending up at the similar deleted address).
