new domain but still blocked in china

  I bought a new domain name and set that as my blog’s URL, but because example.wordpress.com is blocked in China, where I live, I still cannot access or display my blog in China without using a proxy. What should I do?

  I don’t believe there is a solution other than using a proxy. (Technical and security issues aside, if we were to make wp-admin accessible from a different domain, Chinese and other authorities would simply block it).

  Thanks for the response, is there any way I can switch over to wordpress.org, which isn’t blocked in China?

  wordpress.ORG supplies the standalone WordPress blogging software. In order to switch, you’d have to find a webhosting service and set up your blog there.

  Tell us your new domain! I’d like to see what you’re writing about that you want to be seen in China…
  I had heard that WordPress was blocked in China but found it hard to believe.
