New domain does not migrate

I purchased a new domain from Godaddy. I tried to migrate it, but I got the message that it failed, due to password or user name issue. I am using the correct user name and password. I have experienced the same thing with other older domains as well. Please provide helpful ideas. Thanks.

Hi @machumbut54, can you let me know where you’re entering the username and password? A domain migration should involve a transfer code, not a login. Can you also clarify whether you’re transferring it here?
Also, you won’t be able to migrate a domain until it’s 60 days old. But, you can point it to our servers in the meantime, then transfer it when you can.
