New Domain – Followers

  If I purchase my own .com domain for 18 dollars what happens to the followers, do they carry over? If not what steps do I need to take to carry them over to the new domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you blog remains here free hosted by wordpress.com you have no worries. The content remains where it is and so do the followers so no trnafer is required. All that changes is the URL that your visitors see.

  If you wish to move your blog content into a wordpress.org install then you can install the JetPack plugin and activate it. Then Staff can move your email subscribers from your wordpress.com blog to your new wordpress.org install.
