New domain has been already used

  Hi guys, I’m trying to add a new domain (monica-villa.com) but i get the following message: ‘This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.’
  I’ve contacted the former owner of the domain and she said she has removed the mapping from her WP account.
  Can you please tell me what to do in order to set up this domain?

  It looks like the mapping was cancelled for monica-villa.com on 12/20. It will be available for mapping again in our system 2 weeks from that date.

  Thanks Liz.
  2 weeks seems like an eternity in online terms. Is there anything I can do to expedite the process?

  Good Morning –

  If we hear from the original owner we can add the mapping manually. They can post here in this thread. I’ll send an email to them as well.

  I have not heard back from them yet.
