new domain name mapped but dashboard still shows old WP name?

  I’ve mapped my .com domain name to this site, but when I go into admin mode, it’s still showing the old wordpress.com address. Is this correct, or has something in the domain transfer failed to “take”? Thanks

  That is the correct behavior, you will always work in the base blog Dashboard but when you visit your site you will see the custom domain name
