new domain not working

  I added a domain name to use as my main domain. I followed all the steps, asking my administrator to add the CNAME record. I then went in and added my new domain as travelblog.crtric.com. It allowed me to add it and charged the $12 and it added it to the list of domains to chose from. But it isn’t working. I cannot go to travelblog.crtric.com. When I go there, I get a page from Verizon with a message that reads “Sorry, the term we received “travelblog.crtric.com” couldn’t be resolved.” What does this mean? Is it a problem with WordPress or did my administrator do something wrong?

  It looks like your CNAME record has the http:// in it. Make sure that it’s just this:

  travelblog.crtric.com. IN CNAME richmondtravels.wordpress.com.
