  I bought a domain from GoDaddy, but it says that the “new domain purchases are currently disabled.” Why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  +1 I am trying to purchase domain upgrade but getting same error. Would have been nice if WP had put some notice on forums or blog

  Well, that IS the notice.

  If you look at the forum you’ll see a few dozen people who attempted to purchase domains, whose transactions failed and the domains were lost. Until this glitch is fixed, you’d best not try to register those domains here.
