New domain redirects, fails to open page

  Hi there,

  I just paid for a custom domain name for my new blog – danieltrchampion.com. All tested well, but when I selected the new domain name as the primary domain suddenly I couldn’t load the page anymore – message says “too many redirects”.

  Wondered if there’s anybody who can help me with this?

  Hi there,

  When you first switch to a new domain name as the primary domain, it can take a little time for that change to start working. That redirect error may pop up in the meantime, while your computer catches up with the domain change for your site, but it’ll fix itself after a bit of wait. If you want to try to speed that up, you can try clearing your browser’s cache.

  Thank you Rachel, it was opening fine on my other devices so I cleared the cache on the MacBook and that fixed it. Thanks so much for the response!
