new domain replacing old but retaining old's content (under new)

    Hello all, would be most grateful for your help (ridiculously long topic title apologies);

I bought a new domain– equestrianeditor.com that i want to replace one of my old ones, hitsblog.com. I wanted ALL the building and content from hitsblog.com to now be housed under equestrianeditor.com

ok. simple enough. redirect. but NO, not exactly. as i want to use hitsblog.com domain for an entirely new blog/website (also wordpress.com tho’).

yet because I mapped to equestrian editor i no longer seem to have access to hitsblog.com domain (to begin building NEW site for, UNRELATED to equestrian editor).

How can i get my hitsblog.com domain back–so I can build new site for, while keeping all its content with equestrianeditor.com?

I DO NOT want visitors being redirected from hitsblog.com to equestrianeditor.com. But DO want all hitsblog’s old content, body, theme–to be under the domain of equestrianeditor.com.
    as it is now.

Problem not solved as when one goes to hitsblog.com they are automatically redirected to the equestrian editor domain.

I want those who go to hitsblog.com to see new site/theme i have in mind. and when one goes to equestrianeditor–to see that one (which again, is fine, has all hitsblog’s OLD skeleton/content–but minus the hitsblog domain).

Many thanks to you, or any who respond with a solution.

    Victoria

iN=n other words I DO NOT want all my domains (3) redirecting to primary. Ridiculous. I want them all their OWN ENTITIES. I must be doing something wrong–WP is not as intuitive as it used to be.

thank you Timethief. I can temp make them open to pub if it solves this–Ive been waiting for days for an answer.

I did want my new domain (equestrian editor) to simply take the place of an older hitsblog. then to use hitsblog domain for an entirely new site.

Ive written support a lot the past week–TO NO AVAIL. so frustrating. The person did not help me –and I let her know politely.

tried to research answer. tried everything.

I can’t believe no one has been able to answer this. Complete silence from wordpress support too. What do I do? I can make hitsblog.com (again I have no access to it, MY OWN domain) and equestrianeditor.com (which i simply wanted to replace the domain name of hitsblog.com and build a new site for hitsblog).

someone, please, how can i get access to hitsblog.com and build new site for–while retaining all its old content under my recent purchase of equestrianeditor.com? (which is perfectly fine except all my domains redirect to it gah).

    thank you in advance.

what I mean is i can make (if it will help me get a resolution) both sites temporarily public.

…though now they are ONE in the same, unfortunately. that’s the problem. equestrianeditor.com seems to have absorbed the hitsblog domain.
