New Domain Vs Old Domain

I have my owned domain (http://michaelsync.net) that I bought from wordpress.
I have some questions regarding new domain (http://michaelsync.net) and old domain (http://michaelsync.wordpress.com).

Q1. Why don’t all links in Admin Section change to my new domain?

eg #1: Sometime, I can access with this URL http://michaelsync.net/wp-admin/” to the Admin Section.
but sometimes, it redirect to old domain.

eg #2: When I log-in to Admin Section, the link “michaelsync” is linking to old domain “michaelsync.wordpress.com”. Why does it happen like that? it’s better if it’s link to new domain only..

Q #2: I guess, there is one service that used to submit all blogs which are hosted in WordPress to Search Engine.
Which URL does this service submit to Search Engine? my new domain or my old domain?

    1) Why not? It’s just the admin side and doesn’t come into play with the public side of your blog. Both URLs do still work so why not? Probably less strain on the servers anyway since using the new domain requires output to be modified from the old URL to the new one.

    2) I would use teh new domain since it appears that you feel that that one is more important to you. I don’t use the submitters myself since depending on whick one that you use 1) they’ve been tagged as spam sources by most search engines, 2) they only submit to the lesser search engines or even spam sites or Free for all link sites, and 3) they’re worthless since most search engines really only look at links to your site instead of what’s submitted to them. Best method would be to build your inbound links.
