New editor

    It’s old news to many, but today was the first day I was forced onto the new editor when I tried to edit a post. I finally found the link to the old editor, which I will be using as long as I can still get to it. Meanwhile, thanks for nothing, WP. I don’t want or like the new editor and you’ve successfully ruined my “happy” New Year’s day.

    My apologies, WP. Whatever it was that sent me to the new editor is no longer active.

    @windwhistle,

    I had same pre notion about New Editor before I purposely switched to it and tried my hands on it. Surprisingly I actually liked it and found it really convenient and easy to use, so many settings are handy and with few clicks I was able to get my post the way I want.

    Below document helped me change my view about new editor,

    WordPress Editor

    Happy New Year :)

    After 10 years and more than 3,000 posts, I’m quite comfortable with the old editor(s). Learning a whole new system now just takes time away from actually posting. And it just occurred to me, what happens to my current CSS modifications if I suddenly switch editors? And would the new system support all my older posts? Not saying I won’t ever look into the new editor, but I’m going to have to be in the right mood, wanting to learn, not post.
