new editor

@amakvitaa Many thanks for this. For now, for me at least, this works the same as it does without the ?classic-editor addition. I think this is because I have the classic editor set as my default in preferences.
-
@themagicrobot I hadn’t tried this. For the record, I run Chrome Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1. With Firefox, the Classic editor block is avaliable.

See earlier screenshots for what happens in Chrome in which I am still UNABLE to access the Classic editor block. Back to the WordPress gurus to sort this one.
Thanks for pushing me to check this out.

At the moment what appears at WP Admin depends on what your Editor was at MySite before the switch occurred.
If it was Classic Editor at MySite, you’ll now have Classic only in WP Admin.
If you had Block Editor at MySite with the option to link to “Switch to Classic Editor,” in WP Admin you can choose between Classic or Block. (temp screenshot)
This is based on all my sites in several accounts. Keep in mind that things are in flux, so your mileage may vary.

@justjennifer You are correct in my case when you say “If it was Classic Editor at MySite, you’ll now have Classic only in WP Admin.” I’m OK with that.
The issue of accessing the Classic block when in the new Block editor remains unresolved. As you will have seen above, this is now specifically a Chrome issue (possibly though I doubt it a Linux issue).

@mumblefuzz It’s odd certainly. On Win10 v1909 running Chrome Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit), the classic block pop up pops right up if I type /cla (temp screenshot)
Can you try adding it when logged in with a Private/Incognito Browsing window?
-
@justjennifer Damn!!! That works just as advertised. But not when I’m logged with my Google account.
