New editor

    Does the new editor only allow 20 categories? As I loose some categories when using the new editor, I need to swap back to the Classic editor!

    Hi George,

    I just checked, and the new editor doesn’t limit you to 20 categories. Is there a specific post you had trouble with that I can take a look at? That will help me see what happened.

    That said, I’d also recommend cutting back on the number of categories you use on your posts. If you use more than 15 categories and tags (total) on a post, it won’t show up in the WordPress.com Reader when someone searches those categories or tags. By limiting your posts to fewer categories and tags, you’ll ensure that more people have a chance to find your posts in the Reader.
