New editor (also) missing post address editing

In the “old” editor one could edit the post address, and I did that a lot as I post in Hebrew and Hebrew addresses look long and ugly.
That feature, along with many other critically important features, vanished in the new editor. Perhaps I could hack my way back to it with various tips published here and there, but why?
The numerous bugs in the new editor are not really a substitute to features like revision control, and now, this feature.
Is someone at Automatic trying to drive us away?

You can still edit the post address (slug) in the new editor.
1. While in the new editor, click on Advanced Settings, last item on the left hand side.
2. Add (for new posts) or edit (for published posts) the post address in the Slug text box.
3. Click Update button.
