New editor combines paragraphs
-
I created a post in one computer the other day (which is still configured with the old editor) and noticed an error a couple of days later. I tried to fix the error in a different computer which was configured with the new editor and the new editor combined multiple paragraphs into one throughout the post.
If this is how the new editor is going to behave, how do I revert the editor to the old one?

To use the classic editor to create posts like I do, go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
Here is the model so you can see the format
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_YOUR_BLOG_HERE/wp-admin/post-new.phpHere is the link to the page on your blog
http://jrickards.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpNote that you can bookmark that link.
To use the classic editor when you edit posts like I do, use the Posts -> All Posts menu, hover over the post title and click the Edit link.
Here’s the list of workarounds all in one place:

Thank you for reporting this error. Would you please provide a link to the post where this occurred? I’ve seen similar errors before, usually in posts that include source code.
You can always reach the classic editor by going to your All Posts page in the /wp-admin/ dashboard, then editing from there:

OK, first the link above is incorrect, I forgot to check my post here to this forum before I submitted it, the blog I’m working on these days is https://jrtraveljournal.wordpress.com.
This post, https://jrtraveljournal.wordpress.com/2015/03/23/riding-to-sandbanks-provincial-park/, has already been ruined by the editor, I didn’t realize it until just now. Each paragraph shown at the moment should be at least 2 or more paragraphs. I’ll have to use the “trick” you have provided me to fix the paragraphs.

Ok, no problems, now that I know that the Beep Beep Boop editor is problematic, I’ll circumvent it in the future.

I also have problems with the new editor. If I edit an existing post in the new one, it messes up my paragraph spacing as well. I hesitate to even open an existing post in it, because I often have to end up reverting back to a previous draft when I do. I have been playing it safe and sticking to the classic editor…
