New Editor design
-
Not sure if it is just me but my Editor design have suddenly changed making it less user-friendly and is giving me a worse overview. In the new design, the draft posts are taking up around 75% of the screen and the actually published blogs are squeezed into around 15%, and I struggle to see all the buttons. Also the button at the top where I select whether I just see my entries or everyone’s has disappeared behind the published button.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes something has happened to the editor , I’ve realized that the “underline” and “justify” buttons have disappeared.
I haven’t switched to the new editor, I use and I’m intending to keep using the old good one.
Is there any way to recover that couple of buttons?

I too prefer using the old editor, and I have found under the button “Keyboard Shortcuts” that one can justify by highlighting the text, then using the keyboard shortcut Shift+Alt+J. Underline is Control (CTRL)+U. Hope this helps, and I hope they don’t take away the keyboard shortcuts!

Do you have the advanced options toggled on on your toolbar?
I do and I still have the underline and justify buttons, they’re on the second row alongside strike through, text colour etc.
BTW I’m viewing the editor on a laptop using Chrome v56.0.2924.87

Oh, and to clarify, underline and justify buttons are gone from the old wp-admin editor as per some changes in the WordPress.org core software.
But we have also made some changes to our new editor today. So the feedback thread is for the new changes to our new editor, if that makes sense.
For wp-admin, you can still use keyboard shortcuts. We have more information on that here.
