New editor format
-
It’s rather clear that WordPress wants users to jump on the New Editor or upgrade for the privileges of whatever. Not worth it to me….I’m not in it as a “business”. Look, I’ve been doing this since 2009 I think, learned a little HTML, and have enjoyed doing a bit of my own set up.
I find your new “block” format confusing, limiting, and I have nothing nice to say about it. I guess I’m old school and want to do it like I always have. Your “one size fits all” approach doesn’t fit me.
I’m not a prolific blogger nor do I tend to attract more than family and a few occasional friends, but I enjoy it and that’s the point for me. I’m not in it to make any money. It seems your mission has changed along with the format, so….well, we’ll just have to see what I decide to do here……..

Hi,
You can try to access the Classic editor using this link.
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editor
There is also a Classic block that is similar to the Classic editor.

The classic editor is being retired.
Here is information about how to use blocks.

Using blocks with a little practice you may find is not as difficult as it might seem.
