The New Editor is more complicated to use than the Classic and there is no option in the free accounts to use the Classic Editor, now they have complicated it which will result in publishing less articles with this New Editor. You should have the option to use the editor that is most comfortable for users.

It is entirely understandable that after years of using a specific workflow to create your content, a completely different editing experience can be very disruptive. The Block Editor takes advantage of the latest technology to help you build media-rich, mobile responsive, and unique websites.
However, WordPress didn’t want to force an abrupt transition to the Block Editor. You continue to have access to the WordPress Classic Editor experience by using the Classic block.
