  Hello @lailju1979,

  Find the … in the upper right corner of the screen, and click on it. The last menu item that pops up is the switch to a classic editor. Use that link. Let me know how that works out.

  I am trying to switch back to the Classic Editor because the new editor is absolutely horrible. I clicked on your link above and followed the instructions, however, I do not have the option to switch to the classic editor like you say I should. Please fix this immediately or else I will cancel my account with WordPress.com and move my site to a different platform.

  I AGREE!!! TERRIBLE!!! NOTHING COMES UP CORRECT. I WORKED ON MY BLOG FOR SO MANY HOURS, PUBLISHED IT DESPITE MANY PREVIEWS, AND IT COMES OUT WRONG. SO MAD and FRUSTATED!!! When I switched to classic editing, more problems come out.

  @delawaredem – Since you’re on the Business plan you need to go to the Plugins section of your dashboard and enable the Classic Editor plugin:

  This is complete shit. Cannot switch back to classic editor.
  I have to now build a whole new site in another format because this is the worst editor I have ever seen. Disgraceful

  You don’t own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you have a self-hosted WordPress site using the open source WordPress software created on WordPress.org, you can disable the new default editor introduced in WordPress 5.0 by installing the Classic Editor plugin on your site.
