NEW EDITOR IS TERRIBLE

    Here is my response to a reader about his new inability to click on images for my largest and most popular image blog:

    Yes, it is a disappointing situation.

    It is the direct result of a new editor WordPress has imposed on all of users.

    The editor has a couple of other shortcomings, too, but the lost ability to click on an image is quite serious.

    Hopefully, they are working to fix it.

    I just can’t understand putting something like this out there in so faulty a state.

    A rather unpleasant reminder of the way Microsoft does business.

    Note: The editor’s way of typing in post titles also is terrible. The large “fuzzy” letters make it so easy to make errors.

    Sometimes I go back two or three times for a long title.

    It was all so easy previously because the title appeared as a regular line of type when posting.

    The way of handling date changes – so posts can be re-ordered – is inferior to what we had too.
