New Editor – offered or threatened?

  I have tried this and find it doesn’t suit me at all. Can I stop the prompts?

  Hi there,

  You can dismiss the big banner prompt in WP-Admin by clicking the x icon in the top-right corner, but the prompt in the editor at My Sites cannot be dismissed.

  The block editor is going to become the new default editor once WordPress 5.0 launches on WordPress.org next week, so it’s not going away. If you’re having specific issues with the block editor, please let us know so we can relay that to the developers and help improve the editor for everyone.
