New Editor: Possible to Hide Word Count in Bottom Corner?

    The word count in the bottom right-hand corner of the new editor is nice, until you’ve filled the screen with text at which point the cursor disappears underneath it and you can’t see what you’re typing. This only happens if you write a paragraph that’s more than a line long: hitting enter scrolls above it again, until you’ve type another line. Still, it’s annoying.

    Does anyone know of a way of turning the the word count box off, or another workaround?
