New Editor Suggestion: Bring Back Copy Post Feature

I’m really digging the new editor feature, but I keep going back to the classic editor because it contains the “Copy Post” feature under the “Writer’s Help” or “Writing Tools” drop-down menu under the post window. Is that feature currently available in the new editor window, and I just can’t see it? Any help toward that would be appreciated.

You can still copy a post from the classic editor at http://meliswenkediting.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php

Excellent, timethief, and thanks! Yeah, I’ve been hanging in classic editor because of that. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to transitioning to the new editor 100% of the time.

I will not make a transition unless or until the new editor performs as well as the classic editor does.

Well, I haven’t constructed an entire post in the new editor, yet, so I can’t speak to the complete quality of posting from there. But I guess a lot of the same features aren’t there? Spell check and word count, I guess?

Thanks so much for the feedback! I’ll add it to the list of feature requests for the newer editor. Of course I cannot guarantee when or if the copy post function will get added in, but at least it will be included with the suggestions!
