new email followers

  Though I haven’t posted since last May, in the last month or so, I have gotten multiple new followers. That’s not a complaint, but they all have @outlook.com addresses, making me think it’s some fake thing. I can’t imagine what they could do by loading me with fake followers, but I don’t find them in the list of email followers, first of all. And, secondly, I just want to make sure there is nothing else that could be done by them if they aren’t legit. I have changed my password, because it happened several times while I had the former one. What is your assessment of this?

  These are spam and we are actively working on the problem. This is why you do not see them under your followers – because we have removed them.
