New Facebook App for WordPress

As a social media marketer I need the cutting edge stuff to keep up. After much research I have confirmed that the only way I can install the new FB app for WordPress is to migrate our blog from WordPress.com to WordPress.com. We would much prefer to buy it as a WP.com upgrade. The question is: Are you planning to offer something comparable to the FB app? If, so, when?

This has nothing to do with an upgrade and there is no such upgrade available. Are you aware all WordPress.com users can use Publicize? See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Thank you, timethief, for your prompt and detailed response. We are using Publicize, but were unaware of the alternatives you mentioned. Will dig deeper into those to see what combo will fit our needs best. Cheers.
