New feature advertising on WordPress.com?

  Just a questions: I read an announcement that WordPress.com will soon be offering advertising on blogs with split revenue via a new agreement WordPress signed with Federated Afilliated. Is this true: And if so…how soon will this be a functioning feature possibility?
