New follower?

    Hello! I got an email that I have a new email follower on my website. However, when I check the stats, it says that no one has viewed my site today. I am wondering how this happened. Thank you for your help!

    Hi there!

    It is possible for someone to view your site’s feed in the Reader and follow your website directly from the feed without opening individual posts.

    In the Reader, views are only recorded if someone clicks a post to read it. No view will be recorded if the user just scrolls through the content.

    Another reason for views not getting recorded is the use of tracking blockers in the browsers. In such a case, no view stats gets recorded.
